SIMCA-online: Monitoring Made Easy 

There has always been one big problem with processes – you never know the product quality until the process is finished, but not anymore. With SIMCA-online, you have the power to monitor the process in real time.  

SIMCA-online makes this possible using multivariate techniques combined with conventional SPC (Statistical Process Control), underpinned by a seamless graphical interface. Finally, you have the ability to react to quality issues as they happen. SIMCA-online brings you understanding of your process, making early fault detection and reaction possible. 

SIMCA-online is the on-line module for models built with the SIMCA off-line software. SIMCA-online uses the PI System® to get data measured from the process at regular intervals via the PI System® SIMCA Interface.    

Dashboard Monitoring  

With a simple dashboard interface you can see, in real time, the status of all your processes simultaneously in various unit operations. With just a single plot, you can investigate whether a new process is developing normally.                      

Early Fault Detection  

Simply click on the trend plot at any time to see how the underlying process variables differ to normal behavior. In this way, SIMCA-online highlights where the problem lies so that you can take remedial action in good time.                         

Flexibility 

Another click of the mouse and SIMCA-online shows you the evolution of an individual variable. With a range of options supporting each type of plot, SIMCA-online gives you the flexibility to tailor the visualization of your process.

1. Design & Control Space Monitoring
